Our marketing team went on a sales tour around San Antonio and couldn’t help but notice how great San Antonio nurseries were. Here’s a short list of some of the impressive places they got to visit!
Milberger’s Landscaping & Nursery
Starting the list off strong is Milberger’s Landscaping & Nursery! This nursery was voted the best plant nursery in San Antonio and offers everything you could ever need in the garden. From fruit trees to seasonal flowers, waterscapes to landscapes, Milberger’s has it all. Not to mention, the staff is super friendly, and the location is beautiful!
Rainbow Gardens
Walking into Rainbow Gardens‘ distinct dome-like structure, it’s hard to picture that the nursery actually expands over five acres. Stocking many different plants such as fruit trees and seasonal plants, Rainbow Gardens also has a charming shop filled to the brim with cute garden tools and other novelty items. In case one Rainbow Gardens wasn’t enough, there’s another location in San Antonio! This location is often described as “park-like,” and is also a whopping 5 acres! Like its counterpart, this location is well known for fruit trees and novelty garden items, but also specializes in xeriscape plants! As mentioned above, Rainbow Gardens has a super interactive website and makes tools and calendars for workshops and events available to its patrons.

The Garden Center
A family-owned and operated independent retail nursery, The Garden Center seeks to impress by sticking to what they do best; plants. While The Garden Center looks like your typical plant nursery at first glance, it is perhaps anything but. They source their plants locally, and claim to hand-pick the plants they stock! On top of that, their staff was very knowledgeable and friendly!

Fanick’s Garden Center
The last San Antonio nursery on our list is a well-known, local favorite. And let us tell you- the hype is warranted. From an endless selection of plants to an amazing website (it has a 360 tour, videos, instructions, plant database, downloadable guides and more), Fanick’s has obviously taken great care to make gardening accessible to any and everyone. For real though, even if you aren’t in the area, their website is certainly worth checking out!
